Our department has a fleet of tens of thousands of cars in the MoD and Chinese ones represent a very small number.
But whether you’re traveling in a Chinese car or a car from another country, what we’ve asked our people is to avoid connecting Ministry of Defence technology into their car, not to have conversations at a classified level in any vehicle, due to the growing threats of surveillance that exist in all automobile, to only have those secret conversations in protected areas. This is a wise and sensible thing for anyone concerned about safety.
