Australia's authorities have suspended the hunt for a young boy who has been missing in the outback for approximately three weeks, after additional attempts proved unsuccessful to locate any evidence of the boy.

The child was spotted playing outside his residence on a isolated rural property close to Yunta, about 186 miles from Adelaide, on 27 September.
